We offer a variety of experiences to connect with our campus community and the Office of Admission. Our in-person and virtual offerings are dynamic and designed to provide our visitors with an in-depth look at the ϲ experience and give you a sense of what it's like to be an ϲ Hawk. We are adding experiences and sessions as we are able to, so please check back frequently, or contact us if you don’t see something that will work for you.

I-195/Washington Bridge Closure: Info for Campus Visitors  

If traveling to/from ϲ via please plan for additional travel time or an alternative route.  

RIDOT has closed the westbound side of the Washington Bridge/I-195 West due to the discovery of the critical failure of some bridge components. Bypass lanes for I-195 West traffic from East Providence to Providence are open. According to RIDOT, this temporary traffic pattern allows two lanes of travel westbound and two lanes of travel eastbound – all operating on the eastbound Washington Bridge. 

Spring Open House

Discover what an ϲ education looks like during our Spring Open House event on Sunday, April 21. Our 70+ academic majors and minors will be represented during our Academic Fair, allowing you to meet the faculty and Deans, and ask all your questions. Find out about our 100% guaranteed ϲ Internship Experience, which joins classroom studies with hands-on experience in industry, community. You can also take student-led tours of our beautiful waterfront campus and state-of-the-art facilities.

In-Person Visit Experiences

Tour our campus to discover what makes Roger Williams University distinctive. 

Information Session and Student-Led Tour: We offer weekday tours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9 a.m, 11:30 a.m., and 2 p.m. Numerous weekend tours are available throughout the spring. During popular vacation weeks, we offer expanded tours. We also offer tours on Tuesday (by request only). Call 401-254-3500 or email visit@rwu.edu to schedule a Tuesday tour. 

Academic Showcase Tours: All showcase tours include an information session, a school-specific program tour and Q&A, and conclude with an abbreviated campus tour. Options are available for School of Engineering, Computing and Construction Management  (March 25 or April 15), Marine Biology (March 5 or April 18), Forensic Science (February 29), and Mario J. Gabelli School of Business (March 7 or April 11). 

Spanish Speaking Information Session and Tour: Available on February 24 at 10 a.m.

First-Generation Information Sessions: Includes our an Information Session, a campus tour, and a panel featuring First-Gen students. Available on March 7 or April 17.

Counselor and Group Visits

Counselor Visits: We welcome visits from high school and independent counselors. Reserve your spot for a 30 minute admission information session, followed by a 60-90 minute student-led walking tour of the campus. 

Group Visits: Are you looking for ways to keep students engaged, mix up content, and get them out of the classroom? We hope you'll explore our Group Visit programs. We tailor each and every visit to ensure the best possible experience. Request a date/time that works best for your group (we'll do our best to accommodate). If you would like to include a special topic presentation, lunch in our dining hall, or another visit component, please include this in the additional information section at the end of the form.
